I met Juliana and Tatum in Ennis on Sunday just before the rain started. We luckily spent an hour snapping these photos before the down pour commenced. I always love the tricks that make kids smile. For Tatum, it was mom doing jumping jacks. For Juliana, it was mom singing “You’re Never Fully Dressed” from Annie.
I do love that musical and I had not heard any of the songs in a while… so naturally I found the song on my iPod and sang it all the way home. This is Juliana’s favorite verse: “Who cares what they’re wearing on Main Street or Saville Row? It’s what you wear from ear to ear and not from head to toe…that maaaaaatters.” Oh how I love her spirit!
